Logan County Summer Camps

Summer has began and we have a ton of summer camps for your kiddos! Lots of fun activities to do this summer no matter what age they are!

Liberty Hills Golf Club: Junior Golf Camp

2021 5-day Summer Golf Program

By limiting class size and maintaining a 3:1 student teacher ratio, kids receive personal attention and progress quickly. Our golf instructors utilize the U.S. Kids Golf instructional pathway under the leadership of our PGA Director Roy Hobson, a U.S. Kids Golf Certified Instructor. The program mixes both kid-friendly instruction and play on the course. Kids learn effectively and have fun at the same time. Appropriately sized U.S. Kids Golf clubs are provided to help kids develop power, balance, swing speed and tempo at a young age.

Marmon Valley Farms:  Summer Camps

Atomic Horse Camp : (3-night resident camp) Think of Atomic Horse Camp as a pocket-sized version of the Original Horse Camp. This half week version of camp is a great way to introduce youngsters and first-time campers to the camp experience in a bite size way. Atomic Horse camp is also an economical way to attend a second week of camp this summer!

Campers ages 7-14 can attend and no horse experience is necessary. Caring counselors instruct campers in horsemanship, facilitate meaningful activity periods and lead their cabins in a Bible study designed to help foster a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. Weeks begin on Sundays and run through Wednesday at 5:30pm. You may choose to make arrangements to let your child finish out the week for an additional fee of $200 if desired. Contact us for details about this option.

Original Horse Camp : (week-long resident camp) The Original Horse Camp has long been a favorite for over 50 years of camping! Campers are all assigned a horse to care for and ride all week. Mornings are spent in experience-appropriate horsemanship classes while the afternoons include counselor facilitated activities such: challenge course, indoor rock climbing, archery, swimming, crafts, and many more challenging opportunities. Campers love the farm atmosphere, the animals, the friends, and the week of Christ-focused Bible study with real life application! This camp is offered every week for boys and girls 7-17 all summer! No horse experience is necessary to attend.

Critter Camp : (3-night resident camp) Critter crazy kids are sure to enjoy our camp just for girls ages 7-11! This half-week residential camp allows girls the opportunity to have hands-on interactions with Farm animals while learning about animal care and responsibility. As well as spending time holding bunnies, shearing sheep, and playing with kittens, campers will participate in Farm favorite activities like horseback riding, crafts, and swimming.

Horsin’ Around Camp : (week-long resident camp) Horsin’ Around Camp offers horse-crazy girls a week of 100% horses. Campers will also participate in a variety of horse related activities such as trail riding, grooming, young horse handling, and even a chance to learn how to throw a rope. Expect the same great focus on the Word of God and personal growth as our other camps. No specialized horse skill is required, although this is a girls-only camp and campers must be at least 12 years old to enroll. Space is very limited, so enroll soon!

Pure Country Camp : (5-day resident camp) Let’s face it, not everyone is a horse fanatic. That’s OK, you don’t have to LOVE horses to have an exciting camp experience at Marmon Valley. Pure Country Camp is for those outdoorsy adventure seekers who want to experience farm life without the full- blown horse program. Campers will live the life of a farm hand for a week and develop a few skills along the way.

Pure Country Camp may include activities like 3D archery, blacksmithing, farm chores, and shooting sports (with firearm safety). In addition, they can enjoy trail rides and farm-favorite camp activities like the climbing wall, challenge course, swimming and kayaking at the lake.

Pure Country cabins will participate in all-camp activities, evening Camp Talk messages, and Bible studies. Specific farm activities may vary depending on current farm projects. Like all of our camps at Marmon Valley Ministries, our desire is to help your children develop a real and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Equestrian Camp : (week-long resident camp) Here’s an upper-level English riding camp for campers who have their Level 3 certification (from the Farm). This focused horse program will help increase your horse knowledge and your skill. Includes interactive sessions on horse care, hands-on horse training experiences, and upper level riding classes. The week concludes with a special cross-country jumping course experience. This program facilitates opportunities to apply Biblical truth into all of life. This is only offered for teen girls with specialized horse skills. Space is very limited.

Marmon Valley Day Camp : Day camp is a perfect way for kids to enjoy a week of camp without spending the night. From cuddling bunnies, to climbing our rock wall, your child will have a day full of farm experiences and fun!

After serving resident campers for 50+ years, Marmon Valley Farm is offering “Down on the Farm Day Camp” to serve West Central Ohio families. Campers will experience an introduction to horsemanship as well as our traditional camp activities. Children ages 6-11 may attend the 5-day session and no horse experience is necessary. Camp runs Monday through Friday.
